In order to implement the tasks outlined during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Slovenia on May 21, 2025, and within the framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) project “Global Exchange of Knowledge and Skills in Beekeeping and Honey Production,” a delegation consisting of Slovenian scientists and specialists visited Tashkent State Agrarian University today to share advanced experience in the field of beekeeping. The delegation members were welcomed by the university administration headed by Rector N.N. Oblomuradov. During the meeting, the official launch of the international cooperation project was announced, and an agreement was reached to further strengthen bilateral relations.
In addition, the parties discussed issues related to expanding the geography of beekeeping product exports, exploring new markets, and implementing joint investment projects.
The partners introduced the professors, teachers, students, and leading beekeepers of Tashkent State Agrarian University to Slovenia’s advanced experience in the beekeeping industry and made proposals to widely promote this experience, conduct joint research, and implement best practices in production.
