Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is a herbaceous plant belonging to the Poaceae family; one of the oldest and currently one of the most important cereal crops cultivated in many countries around the world.

Research on this crop is also being conducted at the educational and scientific experimental farm of Tashkent State Agrarian University. J. Kh.
