At Tashkent State Agrarian University, new reforms, innovations, and development are advancing day by day. Today’s opening ceremony of the “Agro Eco Club” has become an important milestone in the university’s history. With the support of the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, this club aims to nurture young people as environmentally conscious, creative, and responsible specialists. Today, Uzbekistan faces challenges such as climate change, water scarcity, and food security. Therefore, protecting soil, saving water, preserving biodiversity, and introducing eco-friendly production practices have become of vital importance. In such circumstances, the knowledge and initiatives of young people serve as a decisive force in ensuring the country’s green development.
The club serves as a platform for students, professors, and young researchers to exchange knowledge and ideas, a hub for developing and implementing innovative projects in sustainable agriculture, and an intellectual space equipped with modern technical facilities. The club’s activities are carried out within the framework of the “EU–AGRIN” project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture. The Women in Agriculture Association played an important role in developing the concept of this initiative.

The “Agro Eco Club” encourages young people to make environmentally responsible decisions and contribute to the development of “green” agriculture through practical projects
