As part of the celebrations marking the 95th anniversary of Tashkent State Agrarian University, a cultural, educational, and literary evening took place. The event was opened by the university rector, Professor N. Oblomuradov. — “This event was held at a very high level. It will serve as a great school for young people. Today, I sincerely congratulate the team of our beloved Tashkent State Agrarian University — the flagbearer of agricultural education — on this remarkable occasion,” the rector noted. The Chairman of the Council of Veterans of Tashkent Region, A. Nosirov, also delivered his heartfelt congratulations: — “Every year I have come here several times to visit my teachers and dear friends. I am deeply grateful to those who created this book — for me, it is the greatest gift. Through it, I felt the presence of my mentors and relived my student years. I am confident that you will achieve great success in the future and dedicate your knowledge to serving the people,” he said. The Chairwoman of the Council of People’s Deputies of Tashkent Region, S. Fayziyeva, added in her congratulatory speech: — “Today’s youth contribute to the development of our republic through smart technologies and the digital economy. Among all universities, our most respected and beloved institution is Tashkent State Agrarian University,” she emphasized. The event was attended by foreign guests, professors, honorary teachers, staff members, and students.
During the artistic part of the celebration, Honored Artist of the Republic of Uzbekistan and winner of international competitions Ilyos Arabov, People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Zamira Suyunova, as well as Yulduz Janibekova — artistic director of the university’s “Bо‘ston” song and dance ensemble — and the ensemble members performed various songs and musical pieces.
Filled with national spirit and joy, performances such as “Fergana till Dawn,” “Mustahzod,” “Bog‘ishamol,” “Folklore,” and the “Khorezm” medley won everyone’s hearts. The audience joined the artists in dancing, making the atmosphere even more festive and cheerful. In short, the celebration truly lived up to its name — a real holiday indeed!
