International Cooperation TSAU Rector N. Oblomuradov Visits the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) to Discuss Collaboration in Agricultural Policy and Food Security

Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, N. Oblomuradov, visited the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), where he discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation in the fields of agricultural policy and food security. During the meeting, the parties reviewed opportunities for initiating joint research projects on the analysis of food security and agricultural policy, expanding the participation of TSAU scholars in IFPRI initiatives, and developing evidence-based policy recommendations using IFPRI’s analytical platforms. The sides also exchanged views on enhancing the policy analysis capacity of TSAU specialists, effectively utilizing IFPRI’s statistical databases and research tools, and establishing a joint monitoring system for food security indicators. In addition, the meeting highlighted prospects for organizing training programs, seminars, and professional development courses for the university’s faculty members and researchers.
