At Tashkent State Agrarian University, the newly constructed lecture complex named "Renaissance" was introduced in detail to the professors and teaching staff of the Faculty of Horticulture and Viticulture by the First Vice-Rector of the university, J. Lapasov. During the presentation, it was emphasized that the complex hosts an agricultural exhibition enriched with rare photographs, exhibits showcasing the history of agriculture, and visual materials reflecting the national agrarian heritage. The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, I. Abdurakhmonov, highly appreciated the exhibition, stating: “We can call this small exhibition a miniature agricultural museum.” The remarks of the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, N. Oblomuradov, were also recalled, in which he stated: “We are striving to create a new awakening — a new Renaissance era.” The complex consists of five modern lecture halls, named after great scholars — Navoiy, Ulugbek, Beruniy, Khorezmi and Ferganiy. Concluding his speech, the First Vice-Rector J. Lapasov noted: “There is still much to be done in the agricultural sector. We must preserve these modern buildings as a legacy for future generations.”
In this regard, the words of our President — “We will develop agriculture based on knowledge, innovation and technology” — inspire each of us to work harder and continue learning new knowledge.
