The team of Tashkent State Agrarian University laid flowers at the foot of the Zulfiya aya Zokirova Memorial Complex in Tashkent region on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and January 14 — Defenders of the Motherland Day.

Today, under the leadership of the regional governor Zoyir Mirzayev, a flower-laying ceremony was held at the Zulfiya aya Zokirova Memorial Complex located in the center of Nurafshon city, with the participation of regional activists, respected elders, people’s deputies, representatives of military formations and law enforcement agencies, heads of departments and organizations, the general public, and youth. The memorial is dedicated to Zulfiya aya Zokirova, an Uzbek woman who has become a symbol of courage, patience, and patriotism. A delegation of our university, headed by Rector N. Oblomuradov and consisting of honorary professors, teachers, and young people, also actively participated in the event and laid flowers at the memorial. The ceremony began with the national anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An honor guard was formed. To the solemn melodies performed by a military orchestra, participants paid deep respect to the memory of the brave sons who sacrificed their lives for the freedom and peace of our Motherland.
