The final stage of the “Stars of Agro-Zamin” competition was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University

The Rector of the university, N. Oblomuradov, opened the event with an introductory speech. He noted, “The humanity and justice of any society and state are measured by its attitude toward women. In our country, special attention is paid to ensuring the rights and interests of women; necessary conditions are being created for their education, work, health, and family well-being, and opportunities are being expanded.” The event was attended by M. Kadirkhanova, Deputy Chairperson of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Youth, Culture and Sports; S. Abdikarimova, Deputy Chairperson of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Agrarian, Water Resources and Ecology; A. Akhmedjanova, Chairperson of the Association of "Women in the Agrarian Sector" of Uzbekistan; A. Mahmudova, Chief Specialist of the Family and Women's Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan; F. Khojaeva, Chairperson of the Women's Council of the Ministry of Agriculture; N. Nazarova, expert of the Women Economy Progress Hub club under the Uzbekistan Economy Assembly; as well as representatives of the Qibray district administration, the head of the Family and Women's Department, university professors, and students.
In the competition, 7 talented and graceful female students of the university competed in 2 categories:

Presentation of a prospective plan
Valuable gifts were presented to the participants by the Qibray district administration and the Women Economy Progress Hub club under the Uzbekistan Economy Assembly. The students who took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be financially rewarded by the university in the amount of 5, 4, and 3 times the base stipend, respectively. Additionally, the first-place winner secured a spot in the National stage of the competition.

Meet the winners:
1st place: Izbasarova Gulbanu Bakhtjanovna — 1st-year Master’s student of the Department of Medicinal Plants, Faculty of Forestry and Landscape Design.
2nd place: Tursunaliyeva Mahliyo Kamoldin qizi — 2nd-year student of Biotechnology, Faculty of Plant Protection, Agrochemistry, and Soil Science.
3rd place: Tulqinova Sadoqat Dilshod qizi — 2nd-year student of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Faculty of Fruit & Vegetable Growing and Viticulture.
