TSAU PROFESSOR APPOINTED AS “GUEST PROFESSOR” AT A PRESTIGIOUS CHINESE UNIVERSITY

Professor T.Kh. Makhkamov, Doctor of Biological Sciences from the Department of Forestry and Landscape Design at Tashkent State Agricultural University, has achieved another significant international milestone. Within the framework of the "Talented Young Scientist Program" (TYSP), the scientist has been awarded a prestigious grant for a three-month professional development program, collaborative scientific research, and educational program development at the renowned Northwest A&F University (Shaanxi Agriculture and Forestry Technology University) in the People's Republic of China.

Under this program, T.Kh. Makhkamov commenced his activities at the university's College of Bioengineering on April 1 of this year. On April 2, 2026, an official welcoming ceremony led by the University President was held to formally grant Professor T.Kh. Makhkamov the status of "Guest Professor." During the event, the scientist was presented with the university's official certificate, and discussions were held regarding the further advancement of scientific cooperation, joint research projects, and the implementation of innovative approaches in the educational process.
Notably, T.Kh. Makhkamov has been appointed to serve as a Visiting Professor at this prestigious university for a term of four years. Such achievements serve as a vital foundation for strengthening international scientific ties, exchanging expertise, and training highly qualified personnel. We wish Professor T.Kh.
