New Partnership Between TSAU and Safia in Sustainable Development and Innovative Education

A meeting was held between Narzullo Oblomuradov, Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, and Surayyo Aliyeva, Head of the ESG Department at "Safia Cafe & Bakery," a leading confectionery company. The meeting focused on a series of promising projects spanning education, ecology, and innovation. Key highlights include: Innovation Center on Campus: Establishing a Safia branch alongside a small-scale production and testing center, as well as a bio-packaging laboratory; Green Technologies: Launching projects for waste-to-energy and waste-to-fertilizer production; School of Ecology: Creating an educational and applied ecology school based on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles; Dual Education and Internships: Implementing "Dual Education," "Organic Farming," and "Green Day" programs for students majoring in Food Technology, Agronomy, Ecology, and Fruit and Vegetable Production. This collaboration will enable students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge through practical experience with a modern brand, while also fostering an eco-friendly and innovative ecosystem within the university grounds
