The roundtable discussion was organized on the initiative of Associate Professor F. Ashurova from the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature of the Faculty of Zooengineering. Students from the fields of Agricultural Product Processing and Storage Technology, as well as Soil Bonitation and Land Degradation, took part in the event. Focus on the Works of Khayriddin Sultanov The main part of the event was devoted to the analysis of the novel “Yaldo Night” by the renowned writer Khayriddin Sultanov. While sharing their impressions of the book, students highlighted several key aspects: The novel artistically continues the path of national thinking and historical memory initiated in Abdulla Qodiriy’s “Bygone Days”. The fate of three generations — reflecting the tragic experiences of our people during the Tsarist and Soviet colonial periods, as well as their difficult struggle for freedom and enlightenment — was analyzed through vivid life examples.
The deep portrayal of human emotions, national spirit, and inner world in the novel sparked great interest among young readers. This meeting became a true lesson in spirituality for the youth. The joy of reading and lively discussions left unforgettable impressions on everyone.
