A seminar-training dedicated to the commercialization of science and the implementation of innovative developments into production was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University in cooperation with the Agency for Innovative Development under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The main theme of the event focused on the mechanisms of establishing and supporting spin-off enterprises.
This seminar was organized to ensure the implementation of the Presidential Decree No. UP-54 dated April 4, 2026, which aims to establish production based on new developments in the country. The seminar covered the following topics: Legal frameworks and procedures for launching spin-off companies;
Sources of financial support for scientific projects;
Benefits and preferences provided for scientists and young researchers. During the event, university professors, faculty members, talented students, and industry experts exchanged ideas and discussed ways to transform scientific concepts into real-world business projects. The recommendations provided by experts will serve as a roadmap for the commercialization and practical application of scientific developments, ensuring they move beyond theoretical research into the industry.
