Negotiations Held Between TSAU and Representatives of the People’s Republic of China

​Negotiations were held at the Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) with representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, as well as the expansion of ties in research and professional development. During the talks, Tang Xianlai, representing the Chinese side, provided detailed information on the geographical location, population, and economic potential of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. He highlighted the region's highly developed silk farming, vegetable growing, and tea production sectors.
​Emphasizing the goal of further strengthening partnership, the Chinese representative announced plans to invite 5 faculty members from the university to China by the end of this year to participate in professional training courses. Following this, the Rector of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, Narzullo Oblomuradov, spoke about promising areas of cooperation.

​In particular, he noted the significance of developing tea cultivation and conducting research in this field. He emphasized the necessity of exploring opportunities for growing tea in Uzbekistan, especially in mountainous regions, leveraging China’s advanced experience, and attracting qualified specialists.
