As part of its efforts to expand international cooperation and study the latest achievements in modern agricultural education and science, a delegation of the Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU), led by Rector Narzullo Oblomuradov, paid an official visit to the Russian State Agrarian University – K.A. Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy.
During the visit, an official meeting was held between Professor Vladimir Ivanovich Trukhachev, Rector of the K.A. Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), and the TSAU delegation. At the conclusion of the discussions, which took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two universities signed a cooperation agreement aimed at training highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector, improving educational programs in line with international standards, and strengthening their positions in global university rankings.
During the negotiations, the parties outlined the following promising areas of future cooperation:
🎓 Academic Mobility: further expansion of exchange programs for faculty members and students;
🧪 Joint Research Projects: implementation of transnational research initiatives in agronomy, biotechnology, soil science, and plant breeding;
📚 Exchange of Best Practices: utilizing Timiryazev Academy’s advanced experience in integrating digital agriculture and innovative agrotechnologies into the educational process.
✅ The TSAU delegation also visited the academy’s historic campus, museum complex featuring unique exhibits, modern laboratories, as well as its Botanical Garden and greenhouse facilities. The scientific research conducted by Russian scholars and the organization of the educational process left a strong impression on the representatives of TSAU.
