The Department of Agro-Economics at Tashkent State Agrarian University has commenced the Final State Attestation examinations for graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year. During this process, bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates are demonstrating their accumulated knowledge, scientific potential, and practical skills.

This year, the department has submitted for defense the master’s theses of 2 graduate students, as well as the final qualification works of 33 bachelor’s degree students. The research topics cover the most pressing issues in agricultural economics and focus on the implementation of digital technologies in agriculture, the development of agritourism, the improvement of insurance mechanisms, the effective organization of cooperative activities, the digitalization of business processes, and increasing the efficiency of agribusiness.
At the master’s level, scientific research is also being defended on improving the performance of cotton clusters and advancing digital transformation processes in agriculture. In particular, a research project by Wang Kunfeng, a citizen of the People’s Republic of China, was presented, focusing on the analysis and improvement of cotton cluster activities in Uzbekistan.
The defenses are being conducted based on the principles of openness and transparency, with the participation of leading scholars, industry experts, and employer organization representatives. This ensures an objective evaluation of graduates’ academic work and further strengthens their professional training.
