Scientific Project Results Are Successfully Being Applied in Practice

view 33

Significant results are being achieved within the framework of the scientific project AL-8724052952, implemented at the Department of Agronomy and Agrotechnologies of Tashkent State Agrarian University. A research team led by Professor Jamoliddin Eshonqulov participated in the harvesting of winter wheat grown on experimental fields of the “Imomali Qosimovich” farming enterprise in the Fergana region.

As part of the project, R. Zokirjonov, a second-year doctoral student, is conducting research in the specialty 06.01.02 – Land Reclamation and Irrigated Agriculture. As a result of these studies, crop productivity on previously low-yielding fields has increased significantly through the scientific organization of agronomic practices and the application of modern approaches.
According to the head of the farming enterprise, yields on these fields increased by 30–40 centners per hectare during 2025–2026. Owing to the proper implementation of agronomic measures, the introduction of water-saving irrigation technologies, and the use of science-based recommendations, the average grain yield of winter wheat reached 75–80 centners per hectare.
