Today, a prestigious International Scientific and Practical Conference on “Innovative Methods in Fruit and Vegetable Production and Issues of Increasing Productivity” was held at the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The event was organized to implement the relevant resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the orders of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, as well as to promote the introduction of advanced innovations into the agricultural sector.
Within the framework of the conference, industry experts, scientists, and researchers discussed key issues across five major sections:
🔹 The Role of Innovative Technologies – the current state of fruit, vegetable, grape, and potato production in different regions and strategies for increasing productivity.
🔹 Breeding and Seed Production – crop breeding, introduction of underutilized crops, and modern cultivation technologies.
🔹 Plant Protection – the effectiveness of innovative technologies in protecting crops from diseases and pests.
🔹 Agrochemistry and Soil Science – the importance of organic and mineral fertilizers in improving product quality and crop yields.
🔹 Export and Processing – current solutions for storage, drying, packaging, processing, and enhancing the export potential of fruit and vegetable products.
✅ At the conclusion of the conference, participants developed scientific recommendations and proposals aimed at advancing the sector and exchanged views on future cooperation opportunities.
