Tashkent State Agrarian University held an expanded meeting of its Academic Council dedicated to reviewing the results of the 2025–2026 academic year and discussing priority tasks for the future. The meeting was chaired by the Rector of the University, Narzullo Oblomuradov, and attended by the university's leadership, faculty members, and responsible officials.
During the meeting, participants discussed the priority tasks arising from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev's meeting with the country's youth on June 30 in celebration of Youth Day. Particular attention was given to implementing such initiatives within the university as the "Future Knowledge Ecosystem," "Professional Vouchers," the development of innovative startups, and the expansion of information technology. In addition, talented students who became winners of international competitions and recipients of state scholarships, together with their academic mentors, were honored during the meeting.
The following agenda items were also considered:
implementation of the tasks arising from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's meeting with young people on the occasion of Youth Day;
progress in education, scientific and innovative activities, and international cooperation;
implementation of youth policy and spiritual and educational initiatives;
the current state of the Information Resource Center's library collection;
reports on the activities of the university's faculties.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the members of the Academic Council approved draft resolutions on all agenda items. It was emphasized that in the 2026–2027 academic year, the system for training competitive specialists for the agricultural sector will reach a new stage of development through further improvement of education quality, digital transformation, and the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies.
