An article by the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economics and Professor Narzullo Oblomuradov, entitled “Uzbekistan — Serbia: A Strategic Turning Point in Agribusiness Development”, has been published in the Xalq so‘zi newspaper.
The article provides extensive coverage of the prospects for taking trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Serbia to a new level, particularly in the areas of agribusiness, agriculture, food security, logistics, and modern agricultural technologies.
It notes that the political will of Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Aleksandar Vučić is an important factor in the development of relations between the two countries. It also emphasizes that Serbia’s advantageous opportunities for accessing European markets and Uzbekistan’s strategic position in Central Asia create new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.The article also pays special attention to the application of Serbia’s advanced agricultural experience in Uzbekistan and to expanding cooperation in agricultural technologies, greenhouse farming, seed production, agro-innovation, logistics, and food processing.
