view 4

A student of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, Saida Saydirakhmonova Saydimurod qizi, a second-year student majoring in Ecology and Environmental Protection, was featured in the September 2026 issue (No. 9) of Saodat magazine in an article titled “Saida’s Green Formula” about her “EcoBind” project.
➡️ Saida and her academic supervisor, Nodira Yoqubova, are working together to recycle plastic waste and develop a new type of environmentally friendly and durable construction material. The proposed “EcoBind” (eco-polymer concrete) product consists of 70% melted plastic. By adding cement, gravel, and lime, plastic waste is transformed into a long-lasting construction material. This innovation reduces harmful gas emissions associated with conventional concrete production. Compared with local alternatives, it is also lighter, more affordable, and stronger.
➡️ Saida won the national “Heirs of Mirzo Ulugbek” competition with this innovative project and received a cash prize of more than 8 million Uzbek soums. In addition, her project was discussed at the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan, and she was invited to participate in the “Eco Startuper” project.
✅ We wish our young researcher every success and outstanding achievements in her future scientific endeavors!
