The initiative proposed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during a meeting with young people to declare every Thursday as “Youth Day” is being actively implemented in practice.
Within the framework of this initiative, today a meeting under the motto “Leader and Youth” was held at Tashkent State Agrarian University with the participation of employees from the departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and the National Bank.
The meeting was attended by I. Kholmirzayev, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Z. Artikov, Head of the Fruit and Vegetable Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, S.Isroilov, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment at Tashkent State Agrarian University, as well as active students of the university.
During the meeting, discussions were held about the broad opportunities being created for young people. In particular, within the framework of the projects “Future Entrepreneur” and “My First Profession,” young people are being provided with preferential loans ranging from 20 million to 300 million UZS based on their startup projects. It was also noted that new business projects for young people are carefully developed and presented free of charge by bank employees. Inspired by these initiatives, it was especially emphasized that, on the initiative of the Rector of the university, N. Oblomuradov, every Thursday has been declared “Startup Projects and Support Day” at the university.
At the end of the meeting, a question-and-answer session was organized, where young people received answers from specialists to the questions that interested them.
