The event was organized in cooperation with the Adolat sotsial-demokratik partiyasi, the Qibray District Department of Justice, and the Tashkent State Agrarian University. It was aimed at combating fraud and improving the legal literacy of the population. The event was opened with an introductory speech by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of the university, J. Lapasov After that, A. Rakhmonov, First Deputy Chairman of the Political Council of the “Adolat” SDP, delivered a lecture on the topic “Awareness and Vigilance – A Demand of the Time,” emphasizing that public vigilance plays an important role in preventing fraud-related crimes. An employee of the Cybersecurity Department of the Tashkent Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, R. Alimov, provided detailed information about the main types of fraud, particularly cybercrimes committed via the internet and telephone.
During the event, Senior Operational Officer Lieutenant D. To‘lqinov of the Tashkent Regional IIBB ATSJKQB spoke about preventing offenses and protecting personal data. The university’s prevention inspector, R. Maxmudov, addressed issues related to strengthening awareness. In addition, D. Matrasulov, Head of the Qibray District Department of Justice, specifically noted that citizens’ legal literacy is their most important means of protection. At the end of the event, participants received answers to their questions and exchanged views on the topic.
