The initiative put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a meeting with young people to declare every Thursday as “Youth Day” is being actively implemented in practice. In particular, an open dialogue between the leadership of the Political Council of the “Adolat” Social Democratic Party and members of the party faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis with student youth was held at the Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event was opened with an introductory speech by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Work of the Tashkent State Agrarian University, J. Lapasov. The event was attended by Deputy Chairpersons of the Political Council of the “Adolat” SDP Ozoda Parpibaeva and Islom Hamroev, as well as Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Muhammadjon Valiev. They introduced the youth to the party’s activities and the legislative process. During the dialogue, special attention was also paid to the essence and significance of the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at protecting the rights of women and children and preventing violence against them. In her speech, Ozoda Parpibaeva emphasized that this document plays an important role in ensuring human rights, especially in preventing early marriages.
During the open dialogue, students and professors had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them and express their opinions and suggestions. The event was organized to establish open dialogue with youth, support their proposals and initiatives, and widely promote the essence of the reforms being implemented in our country. This once again demonstrated that the principles of openness and dialogue are a priority in state policy.
