At Tashkent State Agrarian University, within the framework of the “Responsible Parenthood” project approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, training courses and seminar-trainings have begun. The training seminar was opened with an introductory speech by J. Lapasov, First Vice-Rector for Spiritual and Educational Affairs of the university. The event was attended by the Rector’s Advisor O. Navruzov, Chairperson of the University Council on Women’s Issues G. Shodmonova, the university women’s psychologist, faculty advisors on women’s issues, as well as students. During the training seminar, participation of prevention inspectors and representatives of partner organizations is also planned. During the event, Chairperson of the University Council on Women’s Issues G. Shodmonova delivered a lecture on the topic “State policy of Uzbekistan on further development of the family institution and preparing youth for family life.” During the training sessions, such important topics as the development of the family institution, preparing youth for family life, parental responsibility in child upbringing, negative consequences of early marriage, family values, and combating domestic violence are being discussed.
The seminar-trainings will continue until October 16. At the end of the program, participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded certificates.
