Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture

At the faculty, students learn the secrets of modern agricultural technologies, viticulture and fruit and vegetable growing, and learn to apply innovative approaches to environmentally friendly production in practice.

 

The history of the faculty dates back to 1941. Today, the Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture not only trains leading specialists in its field, but also makes a significant contribution to the development of agriculture.

 

 

Today, the faculty consists of:

 

  • 10 doctors of science,
  • 39 candidates of science,
  • More than 60 professors.

 

 

As a result of their efforts, more than 1,690 specialists have been trained to date.

 

The faculty consists of the following departments:

 

  • Fruit growing and viticulture
  • Organisation of vegetable growing and greenhouse farming.
  • Ecology and botany
  • Department of Languages

Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture

In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 563 dated August 27, 2010, the Faculty of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture was established at Tashkent State Agrarian University on October 1, 2010 in order to further improve the quality of training qualified personnel in the areas of Fruit and Vegetable Growing and Viticulture.
