About the department
The Department of Horticulture and Viticulture is engaged in training specialists in the field of horticulture and viticulture. The main activity of the department is the study and implementation of modern technologies of cultivation of seedlings of fruit and berry plants, creation and care of modern intensive orchards and vineyards, the use of resource-saving technologies in their cultivation, effective and rational use of inter-row gardens, as well as the cultivation of environmentally friendly products. Teachers of the department conduct research work, implement educational programs of bachelor's and master's degree, as well as cooperate with agricultural enterprises and research institutes, conducting scientific research in experimental fields.
