Festive celebrations dedicated to Navruz — the holiday of spring renewal, kindness, and compassion — were held at a high level at Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The event was organized under the theme “Honoring Navruz Means Honoring Humanity” and took place in a joyful atmosphere with the participation of university professors, students, community representatives, and respected veteran educators.
The Rector of the university, Professor Narzullo Oblomuradov, noted in his speech: “Navruz is a sacred holiday that purifies the human soul and celebrates kindness, generosity, and compassion. This celebration unites us even more and fills our hearts with warmth and confidence in the future.”
The festive program featured a variety of performances and live musical acts. Songs “So‘lim bahor” and “Bilmasmikin” performed by the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Zamiraxon Suyunova added a special charm to the celebration.
Talented singers Ilyos Arabov, Sultonposhsha O‘dayeva, and Zarif Azizov also delighted the audience with their heartfelt performances.
In addition, national folklore groups performed traditional melodies such as “Do‘ppi tikdim”, “Kim oladiyo”, and “Boychechak”, while the professional dance performances of the “Bo‘ston” ensemble revived national traditions and cultural heritage.
Within the framework of the event, special regional exhibitions were also organized. They showcased traditional handicrafts, spring dishes, and agricultural products representing different regions of the country. These exhibitions further strengthened students’ respect for national heritage and their love for the homeland.
The festive celebration at Tashkent State Agrarian University concluded in a joyful and uplifting spirit.
