The conference took place at Tashkent State Agrarian University and brought together industry specialists, scientists, professors, and students in one venue. The event was attended by the university administration, scientists, researchers, M. Khodjayeva, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, R. Abdullayev, the chairman of the Uzbek Cotton Industry Association, the leadership of the Scientific Research Institute of Sericulture, as well as representatives of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. During the conference, key issues were widely discussed, including developing sericulture based on innovative approaches, modernizing breeding and seed systems, technological integration in raw material processing, applying modern agrotechnologies in mulberry cultivation, and the role of the agro-industrial complex in economic sustainability. Within the framework of four sectional meetings, scientific presentations were heard, and practical proposals and recommendations were made. Participants exchanged experiences and discussed ways to enhance the sector’s export potential and ensure sustainable production.
At the conclusion of the conference, it was emphasized that the presented scientific ideas and proposals would contribute to the further development of sericulture and strengthen the integration of science and practice.
