The full mechanization of the cotton harvesting process, improving the quality of the harvest, and attracting qualified specialists to the sector remain among the most urgent tasks in agriculture today. In a period of rapid introduction of new technologies in the agrarian sphere, it is especially important to continuously update the knowledge and skills of mechanizers in accordance with modern requirements. For this purpose, based on the joint resolution of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and the Inspection for Supervision of the Agro-Industrial Complex under the Cabinet of Ministers dated October 15, 2025, theoretical and practical training courses aimed at preparing and improving the qualifications of cotton-harvesting machine operators are being organized in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and various regions. With the participation of professors and teachers of our university, these training courses, launched in Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana regions, have introduced a new stage in the system of mechanizer training. Modern information technologies have been widely integrated into the training process, enabling participants to gain in-depth theoretical knowledge and extensive practical skills in operating, adjusting, maintaining, and properly storing the latest models of cotton-harvesting machines.
This initiative plays an important role in strengthening the capacity of qualified personnel in the agricultural sector, ensuring efficiency in cotton harvesting operations, and expanding the use of modern technologies in practice.
