From April 13 to October 13, 2025, the World Exhibition “Expo 2025” is being held in Osaka, Japan. This prestigious event, organized once every four years, features the participation of 158 countries and 7 international organizations showcasing their pavilions. The Uzbekistan Pavilion has also gained wide recognition on the international stage. Notably, thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, representatives of several higher education institutions, including the Tashkent State Agrarian University, are actively taking part in this global event — a great honor for us. Main directions of Expo 2025:
• Innovative technologies – artificial intelligence, robotics, medical innovations, genetic research, biotechnology;
• Sustainable development and green energy – alternative energy sources, ecological solutions, energy-saving technologies;
• Cities of the future – “Smart City” concepts and new infrastructure;
• Cultural exchange – achievements in art, heritage, and national architecture.
As of October 1, 2025, the number of visitors to the Expo has reached 36 million people. In August, a record daily attendance of more than 200,000 visitors was registered.
