The initiative proposed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his meeting with young people to declare every Thursday as “Youth Day” is being actively implemented in practice. Within the framework of this initiative, a spiritual-educational and military-patriotic meeting titled “Leader and Youth” and “Commander and Youth Meeting” was held at the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
The event was organized to establish an open dialogue with young people, listen to their opinions and suggestions, and widely promote the essence of the reforms being implemented in our country.
The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Commander of the Tashkent Regional Troops, Colonel L. Usmonov; Chairman of the Tashkent Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan M. Khamzayev; Head of the Tashkent Regional Department of the “Yoshlar – Kelajagimiz” Foundation M. Kholbutayev; First Vice-Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University J. Lapasov; as well as student youth. Young people had the opportunity to freely express their proposals and initiatives, once again demonstrating that openness and dialogue remain key principles of state policy.
At the end of the meeting, it was noted that the proposals voiced would be systematically studied and appropriate measures would be developed for their practical implementation. Supporting youth initiatives and unlocking their professional potential is an important factor determining the future development of the agrarian sector.
