Efforts to expand international academic cooperation at the Tashkent State Agrarian University are yielding practical results. Professors from the University of Tuscia in Italy—Cristian Silvestri and Simone Severini—visited our university to conduct special lectures for 3rd and 4th-year students. Organized within the framework of the academic exchange program signed between the two higher education institutions, these classes allowed students to gain international experience in modern agroeconomics, sustainable development, and innovative approaches in agriculture, while also learning about study opportunities in Italy. During the visit, seminars and masterclasses were organized at the departments of storage and processing of agricultural products, veterinary medicine, animal science, and zootechnologies. These practical sessions provided students with the opportunity to directly learn from advanced foreign expertise and familiarize themselves with innovative technologies in the field.
The sessions led by foreign professors play a crucial role in harmonizing theoretical knowledge with practical approaches, helping students acquire global expertise and skills. Such initiatives are a practical reflection of the consistent work being done to improve the quality of education and integrate leading international practices into the curriculum of our university.
