From March 12 to 14 of this year, a prestigious international conference titled "Global Conference on Women in Agri-Food Systems (GCWAS–2026): Accelerating Progress, Scaling New Heights" was held in New Delhi, India. The event featured welcoming addresses from the heads of influential international organizations, including TAAS and ICARDA.
Guzal Rozievna Kholmurodova, Professor of the Department of "Genetics, Breeding and Seed Production of Agricultural Crops" at Tashkent State Agricultural University and Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, participated in the forum by special invitation. During the conference, the professor shared her insights and perspectives on the role of women in the development of agri-food systems and addressed current scientific issues in the field.
At the conclusion of the event, Professor Guzal Kholmurodova was awarded a special certificate for her active participation and contributions to the field. Such international dialogues serve as an essential platform for showcasing our university's scientific potential on a global scale and exchanging expertise regarding global agro-industrial challenges.
