Representatives of the Tashkent State Agricultural University participated in the 27th International Exhibition "Agrocomplex-2026," held from March 17 to 20 this year in Ufa, Russia. During the visit, conducted at the invitation of the Bashkir State Agricultural University, the parties discussed the innovative development of the agro-industrial complex, breeding achievements, and modern agricultural technologies. During their trip, the Uzbek scientists not only attended the exhibition but also studied Bashkortostan's unique expertise in the agricultural sector. Specifically, TSAU specialists expressed significant interest in scientific research regarding the cultivation of tropical plants within the region's climate. In discussions with Bashkir scientists, they reviewed technologies for the efficient greenhouse cultivation of lemons, bananas, and other citrus fruits.
This visit will serve to elevate joint research between the two universities to a new level in the fields of farming, crop science, ecology, and breeding. As a result of the agreements reached, plans were established for future professional exchanges and the collaborative implementation of innovations in the agro-industrial sector.
