In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities” and the Resolution No. 47/3 of the UN General Assembly dated October 14, 1992, December 3 is widely celebrated in our country as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. This date is a practical reflection of the strong and targeted social protection policy pursued by our government. Since the early years of independence, special attention has been paid to strengthening social protection, particularly creating wide opportunities and favorable conditions for persons with disabilities.
During the event, participants were provided with insights on ensuring the rights of people with disabilities, supporting them, and expanding their active participation in social life.
