In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-135 dated April 11, 2026, "On additional measures to improve the activities of the Tashkent State Agrarian University," a meeting with farmers was organized in the Oqqo‘rg‘on district.
The event focused on establishing the activities of project offices being set up by the Tashkent State Agrarian University, identifying regional challenges, and developing scientific and practical solutions for them. The meeting was attended by the district khokim Tura Bobolov, university representatives, and industry experts.
During the session, farmers held detailed discussions on issues such as increasing soil fertility, implementing modern agrotechnologies, plant protection, animal husbandry, and greenhouse management. Experts provided specific proposals and practical recommendations for each issue addressed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to formulate specific projects aimed at solving urgent regional problems and to implement them systematically through the designated project offices.
