The regional stage of the “Students League” competition in the sport of “Kurash” was organized at a high level through the cooperation of the Department of Theory and Methodology of National Kurash and the University Sports Club.
The competition was held at the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education, where teams from 11 higher education institutions participated in the regional stage. More than 150 participants competed for victory.
The team of Tashkent State Agrarian University also actively participated in this prestigious competition with a delegation of 4 students. The team was led by K. Jumayev, lecturer and coach of the Department of Physical Education.
According to the results of the competition, our university representatives achieved the following results:
M. Rakhmonova (1st year student, Plant Protection and Quarantine) — 3rd place in the heavyweight category
A. Sherqulov (3rd year student, Faculty of Agro-economics, Logistics and Services) — 3rd place in the 90 kg weight category
