FAO eLearning Academy International Seminar Held at Tashkent State Agrarian University

An international seminar titled “Strengthening Academic Cooperation through the FAO eLearning Academy” was organized in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization eLearning Academy platform.

The seminar was attended by Cristina Petracchi, Costanza Mattia, representatives of FAO in Uzbekistan, as well as the Rector of Tashkent State Agrarian University Narzullo Oblomuradov, faculty members, researchers, doctoral candidates, master’s students, and undergraduate students.
➡️ During the seminar, detailed information was provided about the free multilingual online courses, international certificates, digital badges, and modern educational resources offered by the FAO eLearning Academy. International certificates obtained by university faculty members and students through the platform were also presented.
🏆 Information was also shared about the Global Youth Contest 2026, and students, master’s and doctoral candidates, young researchers, and faculty members aged 18–35 were invited to participate. The top three winners will have the opportunity to attend the World Food Forum in Rome.
✅ At the end of the seminar, an official meeting was held between FAO representatives and the university administration. Discussions focused on further integrating FAO eLearning Academy courses into the educational process, expanding access to international educational resources, and exploring prospects for joint educational projects.
