A scientific and practical seminar titled “Food Festival: Synergy of Science and Innovation” was held at the Educational and Scientific Experimental Farm of Tashkent State Agrarian University. The event was organized by the Faculty of Storage and Processing of Agricultural Products.
The seminar was attended by Shamshod Ergashev, Head of the Secretariat of the Ministry of Agriculture; Akmal Shamsiyev, Head of the Department for the Development of Science, Innovation and Education; Narzullo Oblomurodov, Rector of the University; as well as university scientists, faculty members, and students. The seminar focused on creating added value in agricultural products — that is, increasing their economic value through the processing, storage, and packaging of raw materials and their delivery to consumers as finished products. As part of the event, an exhibition of melons and other agricultural products grown during the autumn season was organized, along with an exhibition of finished products obtained through the processing of agricultural produce. The event demonstrated the potential for creating high-value-added products through the processing of agricultural raw materials.
