In order to train professional specialists for Uzbekistan’s agriculture, introduce modern greenhouse technologies, and apply advanced practices, a new project was launched in a greenhouse established using the hydroponic method at the university’s Educational and Experimental Farm.

At the AKIS Center, under the guidance of Professor Seong Gi Deok from the Republic of Korea, in cooperation with the faculty members, doctoral students, and students of the Department of Fruit Growing and Viticulture, 3,000 seedlings of the Sulhiyang strawberry variety, adapted to the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan, were planted. Within the framework of this project, farmers will be provided with practical skills in cultivating strawberries using hydroponic technology.
