Department of General Zootechnics and Veterinary Science Zootechnics (by type), Aquatic Bioresources and Aquaculture, Professional Education (Veterinary Science), Veterinary Science (by type of activity). Provides training for specialists in the field of veterinary and sanitary expertise.
The main activity of the Department is training and implementation of modern technologies for farm animal husbandry, cultivation of their products, development of measures for prevention and treatment of animal diseases.
The teaching staff of the Department conducts scientific research, implements bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes and cooperates with agricultural enterprises and scientific institutions.
The Department employs 6 Doctors of Science, 6 Candidates of Science and 8 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD).
