Agroeconomics, logistics and services

At the faculty, students master the secrets of modern technologies, economics, business management, and accounting, and learn to apply innovative approaches in practice.

 

The history of the faculty dates back to 1952. To date, the Faculty of Agroeconomics, logistics and services has not only trained advanced specialists in its field, but also makes a worthy contribution to the development of agriculture.

 

 

Today, the faculty includes:

52 candidates of science,

more than 111 professors and teachers.

As a result of their efforts, more than 15220 specialists have entered their practice.

History of the faculty "Agroeconomics, logistics and services"

The faculty has a rich history that dates back to the founding of the Faculty of Economics at the Tashkent Agricultural Institute in 1952. In 1978, the Accounting and Finance Faculty was separated from it and established as an independent academic unit.
Over the years, many distinguished scholars and educators have contributed to the development of the faculty and agricultural education in general. Among them are prominent professors and doctors of sciences such as N. Bezrodnov, E.T. Shaikhov, N.A. Khan, B. Abdalimov, A. Kuchkorov, G. Mirkarimov, R. Rajabov, and R. Dosmurodov, as well as many candidates of sciences and associate professors including S. Mukhsimov, B. Rakhimov, S. Kariev, Kh. Rakhimberdiev, O. Nuriddinov, A. Mukhsinov, T. Gulomov, Zh. Yodgorov, S. Karimov, R. Iskandarov, L.A. Kim, M. Riskiyev, Yu. Bedrosov, Sh. Ergashev, M. Isamukhamedova, S. Rasulova, Ch. Muradov, Kh. Nurmuratov, S. Rakhimov, A. Usmanova, N. Kisilev, O. Muzropov, R. Mosheev, D. Mirzaeva, D. Shutova, O. Makhmudov, M. Rikhsiev, A. Koriyev, E. Khonkhojaev, K. Mirzaeva, R. Khalilikhodjaev, Z. Lutfullaev, A. Mamadaliev, N. Aliyev, and M. Nigmatov.

Other dedicated educators, including N. Rakhimov, Ya. Rakhimov, Zh. Yuldashev, G. Sultanova, A. Erov, A. Ishanhojaev, T. Norkulov, D. Yusupov, Sh. Mannonov, Sh. Salikhov, M. Akhmadov, A. Norkobilov, L. Mutakharov, Sh. Kurbanov, and E. Karimov, have also made significant contributions to the growth of the faculty.

In cooperation with the Timiryazev Moscow Agricultural Academy and other universities, modern educational materials, curricula, and textbooks were developed to improve the training of specialists.
The faculty has hosted not only local students and postgraduates but also international students from Latin America, Africa, Laos, Vietnam, Cuba, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates.
In accordance with Presidential Decree No. PP-421 dated August 19, 2019, and Order No. 132 of the Minister of Agriculture dated August 26, 2019, the faculty was renamed "Agrologistics and Business."
Currently, the faculty possesses a high level of scientific and academic potential and plays a key role in training qualified specialists and supporting the development of the agricultural sector in Uzbekistan. Graduates of the faculty work not only in agricultural enterprises but also hold managerial and leadership positions in various sectors.
