At Tashkent State Agrarian University, a spiritual-educational event was held among first-year students on the themes “Fighting Ignorance through Enlightenment” and “The Priority of Human Dignity and Rights – the Foundation of Development.”
The event was organized in cooperation with the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was opened by the university’s First Vice-Rector, J. Lapasov.
The Chief Specialist of the Committee on Religious Affairs for Tashkent region, D. Makhmudov, informed students about the harmful influence of destructive movements, emphasizing that they are mainly spread through social networks.
More than 500 students actively participated in the event. During the meeting, students were introduced to the principles of the Maturidi teaching, and the video clip “The Value of Peace” was screened.
