The university’s rector, Mr. N. Oblomuradov, warmly congratulated the participants, wishing them success in sports and future achievements. The judging panel included the chairman and members from the Republic of Korea, including Mr. Kim Eoor Jong. Joy shone in the athletes’ eyes, and smiles brightened their faces — it became an unforgettable day for all participants. The event strengthened friendship, physical excellence, and confidence in victory among youth, becoming another bright page in the 95-year history of the university. The main goal of the event was to bring the national sport of kurash to a new stage of development, enhance its international prestige, promote it more widely abroad, and systematically support activities aimed at its growth and popularization. The competition brought together students from nine higher education institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as young participants from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. World champion Abdulla Tangriev, honored coaches, and international masters of sport also took part in the event, giving the tournament special prestige and a high level of quality.
