About us
Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) was established in 1930 and has since become one of the leading higher education and scientific centers in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector. The university comprises 8 faculties and 26 departments. It offers education in 32 bachelor’s programs and 44 master’s specialties. Over 15,000 students are currently studying at TSAU.

The main task of Tashkent State Agrarian University is to train highly qualified personnel in the field of agriculture, development of research activities, development and introduction of modern innovative technologies to ensure sustainable development of the agricultural sector.

The university employs 562 professors and lecturers, 271 of whom hold academic degrees, including 45 doctors of science and full professors. This reflects a scientific potential of 71.2%.
The University has established international cooperation with top universities of such countries as the USA, Germany, Japan, South Korea, China and others. The University has more than 20 modern laboratories, where more than 50 research projects are conducted annually.
