The department trains highly qualified specialists in the organisation of traditional and modern methods of receiving, storing, processing and packaging grain and grain products, cotton raw materials, fruits and vegetables, melons, root crops and industrial crops. It provides the agricultural sector with practice-oriented specialists.
The department promotes innovative approaches in the field of storage and processing of agricultural products. The main focus is on teaching resource-saving and environmentally friendly technologies aimed at preserving, processing and increasing the added value of products. Students gain practical skills at all stages of these processes during their training practice.
